On Edwards Les Pauls after 2003, you can determine model by the Edwards logo on the headstock: White logo: a LP-92 (used to be LP-85) Gold logo: a LP-98 (used to be LP-90) The model numbers 92 98 That refers to price, 92,000 yen, or 98,000 yen. You pay a little more for the aged binding and lacquer taste. Before 2003, I think they were all white logos, I could be wrong on that though. ![]() Just standards and customs. No model number, just kept changing a little every year. Pickups, tenon joint went through varying changes, logo changes, TRC changes, etc. ![]() In 2003 they brought out all the different LP models, Lacquer Taste, different artist models. These two LP Specials look similar but the model is different, any info on that:MEBIDX:IT. It matches the same color as the design in the middle of the headstock, just under the name Edwards. The number on the back of the headstock is ED1350252 Info online is scarce. But mine doesnt have a serial number on it anywhere so Im a bit confused by that as well.
